University of Southampton
The University of Southampton is a public research university located in Southampton, England. It is a founding member of the Russell Group of research-intensive universities in the United Kingdom. The University of Southampton was founded in 1862 as the Hartley Institution, which was established through the bequest of Henry Robinson Hartley.
