Uwe Ampler (born 11 August 1964) is a former professional road cyclist from East Germany. He is most notable for his achievements in the Amateur Road World Championship, where he won the gold medal in 1986, and for his victories in the Peace Race, which he won four times (1986, 1987, 1988, and 1989). Ampler was one of the most successful amateur cyclists of his time before turning professional.
