Valérie Fourneyron
Valérie Fourneyron (born 4 October 1959 in Le Petit-Quevilly, Seine-Maritime) is a French politician and medical doctor. She is best known for her role in French sports administration and politics, including her tenure as the Minister of Sports, Youth, Non-Formal Education, and Voluntary Organizations from 16 May 2012 to 31 March 2014 under President François Hollande's government. Fourneyron has been a member of the Socialist Party (Socialist Party) and has held various elected positions, including Mayor of Rouen and Deputy of the Seine-Maritime department.
