Vasile Goldiș Western University of Arad (Universitatea de Vest "Vasile Goldiș" din Arad - UVVG) is a private university located in Arad, Romania. Named after the prominent Romanian politician and academic Vasile Goldiș, who played a significant role in the unification of Transylvania with Romania in 1918, the university was established in 1990, shortly after the fall of the communist regime.
