Vermentino
Vermentino is a wine grape variety predominantly grown in the Mediterranean regions of France, Italy, and Sardinia. It is known for producing crisp, light-bodied white wines with notable sea spray and mineral qualities, often accompanied by flavors of citrus and green apple.

The origins of Vermentino are believed to be in Spain, from where it was brought to Corsica and Sardinia by the Catalans during the Middle Ages. The grape variety is also known as Favorita in Piedmont, Rolle in Provence, and Malvoisie in Corsica.

Vermentino thrives in warm climates and coastal areas, where the sea breeze helps to maintain the grape's acidity and delicate aromatics.
