Vestibulum
Vestibulum is a term used in anatomy to refer to a central part of the body that is a passage or an entrance to a larger space or cavity. The term is used in both human and animal anatomy. In human anatomy, the term is often used to refer to parts of the ear and the vagina.

The vestibulum of the ear, also known as the vestibule of the ear, is a part of the inner ear. It is situated between the semicircular canals and the cochlea. The vestibulum of the ear is involved in the body's sense of balance.
Vestibulum of the vagina[edit | edit source]
The vestibulum of the vagina, also known as the vaginal vestibule, is a part of the female reproductive system. It is the area between the labia minora into which the urethra and the vagina open. The vestibulum of the vagina is involved in sexual reproduction and urination.
