Throughout the series, Tori navigates the high stakes world of performing arts with her friends and classmates, including the talented musician Andre Harris, the eccentric and artistic Robbie Shapiro and his puppet Rex, the gothic and gifted Jade West, her boyfriend Beck Oliver, and the tech-savvy but socially awkward Cat Valentine.
