Virginia Clinton Kelley (June 6, 1923 – January 6, 1994) was an American nurse anesthetist and the mother of Bill Clinton, the 42nd President of the United States. Her life was marked by both personal triumphs and tragedies, and she played a significant role in her son's political career.

Virginia Dell Cassidy was born in Bodcaw, Arkansas, to James Eldridge Cassidy, a grocer, and Edith Cassidy, a nurse practitioner. After her father's death in a car accident, her mother remarried to Roger Clinton Sr., whose surname Bill would later adopt. Virginia faced numerous challenges from a young age, including her stepfather's alcoholism and abusive behavior.
