Wai Wai (food brand)

Wai Wai is a brand of instant noodles produced by the Thai Preserved Food Factory, Co. Ltd. in Thailand, and by the Chaudhary Group in Nepal. Wai Wai noodles are pre-cooked, flavored, seasoned and fried before packaging. The brand is popular in Nepal, India, Bangladesh and some parts of East Asia.

The Wai Wai brand was first established in Thailand by the Thai Preserved Food Factory in 1972. The brand was introduced to Nepal in 1984 by the Chaudhary Group, under the company's CG Foods division. The Chaudhary Group built its first Wai Wai factory in Kathmandu, and the brand quickly gained popularity in the country.

Wai Wai offers a variety of instant noodle products, including Wai Wai Quick, Wai Wai 1-2-3, and Wai Wai Cup Jumbo. The brand also produces Wai Wai Soup, a line of instant soup products. Each product comes in a variety of flavors, such as chicken, vegetable, and shrimp.

Wai Wai is a leading brand of instant noodles in Nepal, with a market share of over 50%. The brand is also popular in India, particularly in the northeastern states. In addition to its presence in South Asia, Wai Wai has a significant market share in Thailand, and is exported to over 32 countries worldwide.
