Webster County is a county located in the west central portion of the U.S. state of Georgia. As of the 2010 Census, the population was 2,799, making it the third-least populous county in Georgia. The county seat is Preston.

Webster County is located in the Lower Coastal Plain region of Georgia. The county is primarily rural with agriculture being the dominant land use.
History[edit | edit source]
Webster County was created on December 16, 1853, by an act of the Georgia General Assembly from portions of Stewart County.

Webster County is served by two major highways: U.S. Route 280 and Georgia State Route 41.
