West Carroll Parish is a parish located in the northeastern part of the U.S. state of Louisiana. As of the 2010 census, the population was 11,604. The parish seat is Oak Grove. The parish was formed in 1877.
Geography[edit | edit source]
West Carroll Parish has a total area of 360 square miles, of which 359 square miles is land and 1.0 square mile is water. It is bordered by the state of Arkansas to the north, Morehouse Parish to the west, Richland Parish to the south, and East Carroll Parish to the east.

As of the 2010 United States Census, there were 11,604 people living in the parish. The racial makeup of the parish was 81.1% White, 17.4% Black or African American, 0.4% Native American, 0.2% Asian, 0.1% Pacific Islander, and 0.8% from two or more races.
