Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania
Whitehall Township is a township with home rule status in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is a suburb of Allentown, Pennsylvania, in the Lehigh Valley metropolitan area, the third most populous metropolitan area in Pennsylvania.

Whitehall Township was originally part of Northampton County, Pennsylvania, and was established in 1752. It was named after a white hall that was built in the area by early settlers. The township has a rich history, including its role in the American Revolutionary War and its development during the Industrial Revolution.
Geography[edit | edit source]
Whitehall Township is located in eastern Pennsylvania and is bordered by the city of Allentown, Pennsylvania to the south. The Lehigh River forms its western boundary. The township covers an area of approximately 12.9 square miles.

As of the 2020 census, Whitehall Township had a population of approximately 27,000 residents. The township is known for its diverse community and has seen significant growth over the past few decades.
