William S. Booze (Maryland Congressman)

William S. Booze was an American politician and lawyer who served as a member of the United States House of Representatives from Maryland. He was born on January 9, 1862, in Baltimore, Maryland, and died on December 6, 1933.

William S. Booze was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He attended the public schools and later graduated from Baltimore City College. He studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1889, commencing practice in Baltimore.

Booze was a member of the Republican Party. He was elected to the United States House of Representatives and served one term from March 4, 1897, to March 3, 1899, representing Maryland's 3rd congressional district. During his term, he was involved in various legislative activities and was known for his advocacy on issues pertinent to his constituents.

After serving in Congress, Booze returned to his law practice in Baltimore. He remained active in local politics and community affairs until his death on December 6, 1933. He was interred in Green Mount Cemetery in Baltimore.
