History[edit | edit source]
Phillip Chang, an entrepreneur with a passion for quality and freshness, founded Yogurtland in 2006. The first location was in Fullerton, California. The company's mission was to provide a self-serve frozen yogurt experience that gave customers the highest quality ingredients and flavors to fill their cups.
Products[edit | edit source]
Yogurtland's menu consists of a variety of frozen yogurt flavors, which are often rotated to provide diversity. The company prides itself on using real ingredients sourced from their original locations. For instance, their Madagascar Vanilla Bean is made from real Madagascar vanilla beans.
Customers can customize their frozen yogurt with a variety of toppings, including fresh fruits, nuts, cereals, candies, and sauces. The company also offers dairy-free and no sugar added options to cater to different dietary needs.
Business Model[edit | edit source]
Yogurtland operates on a self-serve model, where customers can fill their cups with any combination of yogurt flavors and toppings, and then pay by weight. This model allows customers to control their portion sizes and mix and match flavors to their liking.
Expansion[edit | edit source]
Since its inception, Yogurtland has expanded rapidly both domestically and internationally. As of 2020, the company has over 320 locations across the United States and other countries, including Australia, Dubai, Guam, Myanmar, Oman, and Venezuela.
