Tim Crow is a British psychiatrist and professor emeritus of psychiatry at the University of Oxford. He is known for his research on the biological basis of schizophrenia.

Tim Crow was born in UK. He studied medicine at the Oxford University and later specialized in psychiatry.

Crow has had a distinguished career in the field of psychiatry. He has served as a professor of psychiatry at the University of Oxford and is currently a professor emeritus. He has also worked at the Warneford Hospital in Oxford.

Crow's research has primarily focused on the biological basis of schizophrenia. He has proposed that schizophrenia is a result of the evolution of the human brain, specifically the development of language and lateralization of brain function. This theory is known as the Cerebral Asymmetry Theory.
