1993 Milwaukee cryptosporidiosis outbreak

The 1993 Milwaukee cryptosporidiosis outbreak was a waterborne disease outbreak that occurred in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The outbreak was caused by the parasite Cryptosporidium, which was found in the city's water supply. The outbreak resulted in over 400,000 cases of illness and caused 69 deaths.
