208 (Liverpool) Field Hospital
208 (Liverpool) Field Hospital is a unit of the British Army's Royal Army Medical Corps. It is a volunteer unit, staffed by trained medical professionals who provide medical support to the British Army in times of conflict and during peacekeeping operations.

The 208 (Liverpool) Field Hospital was established in Liverpool, England in the late 19th century. It has a long and distinguished history, having served in both World Wars, as well as in more recent conflicts such as the Falklands War, the Gulf War, and the War in Afghanistan.
Role and Responsibilities[edit | edit source]
The primary role of the 208 (Liverpool) Field Hospital is to provide medical support to the British Army. This includes emergency medical treatment on the battlefield, as well as ongoing care for injured soldiers. The unit is staffed by a mix of regular and reserve personnel, including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
In addition to its operational role, the 208 (Liverpool) Field Hospital also provides training for Army medical personnel. This includes both clinical and military training, to ensure that all personnel are able to provide the highest standard of care in the challenging conditions of a military operation.
