3-Aminophenol is an organic compound with the formula C6H7NO. It is an amine derivative of phenol, with an amino group (-NH2) attached to the phenolic ring. This compound is one of the three isomers of aminophenol, the others being 2-aminophenol and 4-aminophenol. 3-Aminophenol is a colorless to light brown solid that is soluble in water and organic solvents.
