Aaron Robinson 1949 Bowman

Aaron Robinson was a professional baseball player who played as a catcher in Major League Baseball (MLB). He was born on June 23, 1915, in Lancaster, South Carolina. Robinson made his MLB debut on April 19, 1943, with the New York Yankees.

During his career, Robinson played for several teams, including the New York Yankees, Chicago White Sox, and Detroit Tigers. He was known for his strong defensive skills as a catcher and his ability to handle pitching staffs effectively.

Robinson's best season came in 1943 when he was named an All-Star and won the World Series with the New York Yankees. He continued to play in the MLB until his retirement in 1951.

After his playing career, Robinson served as a coach for various teams, including the Detroit Tigers and the Kansas City Athletics. He was respected for his knowledge of the game and his mentorship of young players.
