Action T4

From WikiMD's Food, Medicine & Wellness Encyclopedia

Action T4 was a program of forced euthanasia in Nazi Germany during which individuals deemed "racially inferior" or "incurably ill" were killed. The program was implemented by the Reich Committee for the Scientific Registering of Serious Hereditary and Congenital Illnesses in 1939 and was only officially stopped in 1941. It resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands of people, the majority of which were disabled individuals.
