Adam MacDougall
Adam MacDougall (born April 15, 1974) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. He is best known for his time with the Newcastle Knights and the South Sydney Rabbitohs in the National Rugby League (NRL). MacDougall primarily played as a winger and centre.

Adam MacDougall was born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. He attended St Joseph's College, Hunters Hill, where he excelled in rugby league and was subsequently scouted by professional teams.
Professional Career[edit | edit source]
Newcastle Knights[edit | edit source]
MacDougall began his professional career with the Newcastle Knights in 1995. He quickly established himself as a key player, known for his speed, strength, and try-scoring ability. During his time with the Knights, he won two NRL Grand Finals in 1997 and 2001.
South Sydney Rabbitohs[edit | edit source]
In 2004, MacDougall signed with the South Sydney Rabbitohs. Despite facing several injuries, he made significant contributions to the team and was known for his leadership on and off the field.
Return to Newcastle Knights[edit | edit source]
MacDougall returned to the Newcastle Knights in 2007, where he continued to play until his retirement in 2011. His second stint with the Knights was marked by consistent performances and mentoring younger players.
