- Ahtanum is a census-designated place (CDP) in Yakima County, Washington, United States. The population was 3,601 at the 2010 United States Census. Ahtanum is primarily a residential area with a mix of suburban and rural landscapes.

- Ahtanum is located at 46°34′24″N 120°38′58″W (46.573333, -120.649444). According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 7.0 square miles (18.1 km²), all of it land.
