Alpe d'HuZes is an annual fundraising event in the Netherlands, where participants either run, walk, or cycle up the Alpe d'Huez, a famous mountain in the French Alps, to raise money for cancer research. The event is unique in that participants aim to ascend the mountain up to six times in one day, which is reflected in the name "d'HuZes," with "zes" being Dutch for "six."
