Altai Krai
Altai Krai is a federal subject of Russia, located in the Siberian region of the country. It is named after the Altai Mountains, which run through the region. The administrative center of Altai Krai is the city of Barnaul.

Altai Krai is located in the south-eastern part of Western Siberia and borders with Kazakhstan to the south, and with Novosibirsk Oblast and Kemerovo Oblast to the north. The region is characterized by a variety of landscapes, including steppes, forests, and mountainous areas. The Altai Mountains, which give the region its name, are a major geographical feature.
