Amai Pakpak Medical Center (APMC) is a government hospital located in Marawi, Lanao del Sur, in the Philippines. It is a Level II hospital with a 200-bed capacity, providing healthcare services to the residents of Marawi and the surrounding areas.

The Amai Pakpak Medical Center was established in 1986, initially as a 50-bed capacity hospital. Over the years, it has expanded its services and facilities, and in 2009, it was upgraded to a Level II hospital with a 200-bed capacity.

APMC offers a wide range of medical services, including Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Family Medicine. It also has departments for Radiology, Pathology, and Anesthesiology. The hospital is equipped with modern medical equipment and facilities to provide quality healthcare services.

The Amai Pakpak Medical Center has various facilities to cater to the needs of its patients. These include an Emergency Room, Intensive Care Unit, Operating Room, and Delivery Room. It also has a Pharmacy, Laboratory, and Radiology Department.

Challenges[edit | edit source]

The Amai Pakpak Medical Center has faced several challenges throughout its history. In 2017, it was temporarily closed due to the Marawi Siege, which resulted in significant damage to the hospital's facilities. However, it was able to resume operations after repairs and renovations were made.
