Amanita magnivelaris is a species of mushroom in the genus Amanita. It is commonly known as the American Caesar's mushroom. This species is found in North America, particularly in regions with coniferous forests.

Amanita magnivelaris is characterized by its large size, with caps reaching up to 20 centimeters in diameter. The cap is initially convex, becoming flat with maturity. It is typically white or cream-colored, with prominent white warts or patches. The gills are white and free, while the stem is thick and often has a bulbous base.

This species is commonly found in coniferous forests, especially in association with pine trees. It is distributed throughout North America, with a preference for cooler climates.

Like many species in the genus Amanita, Amanita magnivelaris is considered toxic and should not be consumed. It contains toxins that can cause severe gastrointestinal distress and other symptoms if ingested.
