Amenable
Animals subject to the Federal Meat Inspection Act or the Poultry Products Inspection Acts mandatory inspection requirements. USDA exempts from its inspection foods containing three percent or less raw (or less than two percent cooked) red meat or other edible portions of a carcass, or products which historically have not been considered by consumers as products of the meat industry.
