American college of rheumatology
The American College of Rheumatology, abbreviated ACR, (not to confuse with the American College of Radiology also abbreviated to ACR) is the non-profit professional organization interested in advancing the field of rheumatology in the United States for not only physicians practicing rheumatology, but also other health professionals, and scientists in the field.

According the ACR website, the American College of Rheumatology was founded in 1934, we are a not-for-profit, global medical society that serves over 7,700 physicians, health professionals, and scientists worldwide.

The ACR conducts an annual meeting that brings the physicians, researchers, and industry together for advancement of the field and offers many educational activities offering CME, and board review in the field of rheumatology
