Amityville: The Awakening is a 2017 American supernatural horror film written and directed by Franck Khalfoun. The film serves as a revival of the Amityville franchise, which is based on the real-life events surrounding the haunted house at 112 Ocean Avenue in Amityville, New York.

The story follows a single mother, Joan, who moves into the infamous Amityville house with her three children, Belle, Juliet, and James. Belle, the eldest daughter, becomes suspicious of the strange occurrences in the house and discovers its dark history. As the family grapples with the malevolent forces within the house, they must confront their own fears to survive.
