Anna May Waters (born March 15, 1905) was an American actress known for her work in silent films and early talkies. Her career spanned from the 1920s to the 1940s, during which she became a prominent figure in the Hollywood film industry.

Anna May Waters was born in Chicago, Illinois, to a family of modest means. Her parents, John and Mary Waters, were immigrants from Ireland. From a young age, Anna showed a keen interest in the performing arts, participating in local theater productions and school plays.

Waters began her career in the silent film era, making her debut in 1923 with a minor role in "The Silent Star."
