Archduke Franz Karl Salvator of Austria (17 February 1893 – 10 December 1918) was a member of the House of Habsburg-Lorraine, the ruling dynasty of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. He was the son of Archduke Franz Salvator of Austria and Archduchess Marie Valerie of Austria, the youngest daughter of Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria and Empress Elisabeth of Austria.

Archduke Franz Karl Salvator was born on 17 February 1893 in Vienna, the capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. He was the fourth child and second son of Archduke Franz Salvator and Archduchess Marie Valerie. His early life was spent at the family estates, including the Schloss Wallsee in Lower Austria.
