- Ashdown is a city located in Little River County, Arkansas, United States. It is the county seat of Little River County. The city is part of the Texarkana, TX-AR Metropolitan Statistical Area. Ashdown's population was 4,723 at the 2010 census, a decrease from the 1990 figure of 5,207.

- Ashdown is located at 33°40′25″N 94°7′49″W. The city is located in the southwestern corner of Arkansas, and is approximately 20 miles north of Texarkana.

- Ashdown was incorporated in 1892. The city was named for Ashdown, England, the birthplace of a railroad official.
