Bakırköy Psychiatric Hospital is a healthcare facility located in Bakırköy, a district in Istanbul, Turkey. It is the largest psychiatric hospital in the country and one of the oldest in the region, with a history dating back to the late 19th century.

The Bakırköy Psychiatric Hospital was established in 1870 during the Ottoman Empire. It was initially named Toptasi Asylum and was the first modern mental health institution in the country.
