Plot[edit | edit source]

The film follows the story of Balto, a half-wolf, half-dog hybrid, as he embarks on a journey to help his daughter, Aleu, discover her true identity. Aleu struggles with her wolf heritage and sets out to find her place in the world. Balto accompanies her on this quest, facing various challenges and adventures along the way.

Characters[edit | edit source]

  • Balto: The protagonist of the film, a courageous and loyal sled dog.
  • Aleu: Balto's daughter, a spirited young wolf-dog who seeks to understand her roots.
  • Muk and Luk: Two comic relief characters, a polar bear and a grizzly bear cub.
  • Niju: The main antagonist, a bitter wolf who opposes Balto and Aleu.

Production[edit | edit source]

Balto II: Wolf Quest was produced by Universal Pictures and animated by Universal Animation Studios. The film features voice talents including Maurice LaMarche as Balto, Jodi Benson as Aleu, and Lacey Chabert as Jenna.

Reception[edit | edit source]

The film received mixed reviews from critics, with praise for its animation and voice acting but criticism for its predictable plot and lack of originality compared to the first film.
