Bayelsa Medical University
Bayelsa Medical University (BMU) is a public university located in Yenagoa, the capital city of Bayelsa State, Nigeria. Established in 2019, the university is dedicated to the study and research of medicine and allied disciplines.

The Bayelsa Medical University was established in 2019 by the Bayelsa State Government. The university was created to address the shortage of medical professionals in the state and to provide high-quality medical education to students from Bayelsa and beyond.
