- Bedford County is a county located in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania. As of the 2010 census, the population was 49,762. The county seat is Bedford. The county was created on March 9, 1771, from part of Cumberland County and named in honor of the Fort Bedford.

- Bedford County comprises the Bedford, PA Micropolitan Statistical Area, which is also included in the Johnstown-Somerset-Bedford, PA Combined Statistical Area. It is located in southern Pennsylvania, on its border with Maryland. Bedford County is about 100 miles east-northeast of Pittsburgh and 200 miles west of Philadelphia.
