Berhampur University (Odia: ବେରହମ୍ପୁର ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ) is a public university located in Berhampur, Odisha, India. Established in 1967, it is one of the prominent universities in the state of Odisha. The university is situated in a rural setting, providing a serene environment conducive to academic pursuits.

Berhampur University was established on 2 January 1967. The university was inaugurated by Dr. A.N. Khosla, the then Governor of Odisha and the first Chancellor of the university. The university was set up to cater to the higher education needs of the southern region of Odisha.

The university campus is located in Bhanja Bihar, named after the famous poet Kabisurya Baladev Ratha. The campus spans over an area of 250 acres and is equipped with various facilities including hostels, a library, and sports complexes.
