Bijou Thaangjam is an Indian actor, lyricist, art director, and chef. He is best known for his roles in Bollywood films such as Mary Kom, Shivaay, and Paltan. Thaangjam hails from Imphal, the capital city of the Manipur state in northeastern India.

Thaangjam was born and raised in Imphal, Manipur. He developed an interest in the arts from a young age, particularly in acting and cooking. He pursued his passion for cooking by participating in the third season of the reality cooking show MasterChef India.

Career[edit | edit source]

Thaangjam's acting career began with a role in the Bollywood biographical sports film Mary Kom in 2014, where he played the character of Naobi. He then appeared in the action thriller Shivaay in 2016, and the war film Paltan in 2018.

In addition to acting, Thaangjam has also worked as an art director and lyricist. He has contributed to the art direction of several films and has written lyrics for songs in various Manipuri films.

As a chef, Thaangjam has showcased his culinary skills on MasterChef India. He is known for his expertise in Manipuri cuisine and has used his platform to promote the culinary traditions of his home state.
