Biogerontology is a peer-reviewed academic journal that focuses on the biology of aging and research into biogerontology. The journal was established in 2000 and is published by Springer Science+Business Media.

Biogerontology provides a platform for research which aims to understand the biological process of aging. The journal covers a broad spectrum of topics, from the molecular and cellular levels to the organism level, including genetic, biochemical, and evolutionary aspects of aging.

The journal publishes original research articles, review articles, and short communications that cover various aspects of aging biology. Topics include, but are not limited to, cellular senescence, DNA damage and repair, telomeres, aging and disease, longevity, and life span determination.

Biogerontology is abstracted and indexed in several databases including Science Citation Index, Scopus, PubMed, and MEDLINE. According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2019 impact factor of 3.519.

The editor-in-chief of Biogerontology is Judith Campisi, a professor at the Buck Institute for Research on Aging. The journal also has an international editorial board composed of experts in the field of aging biology.
