Black star
Black Star is a term used in various fields of study such as astronomy, music, and literature. It often refers to a type of celestial body or a notable work in the arts.
Astronomy[edit | edit source]
In the field of astronomy, a black star is a theoretical celestial body, similar to a black hole. It is a gravitational object so massive that it deforms spacetime to the point where it becomes a singularity. However, unlike a black hole, a black star does not have an event horizon. This means that it does not have a boundary from which nothing can escape, including light. The concept of a black star is used in certain solutions to the field equations of general relativity.
Music[edit | edit source]
Black Star is also the name of a hip hop duo consisting of artists Mos Def and Talib Kweli. Their eponymous debut album, Black Star, was released in 1998 to critical acclaim. The album's lyrics, often focused on issues of social justice and political awareness, have been praised for their depth and complexity.
Literature[edit | edit source]
In literature, Black Star is a character in the manga and anime series Soul Eater. Black Star is one of the main protagonists of the series, known for his loud personality and strong desire to surpass God.
