Blood and Sand is a 1941 Technicolor drama film directed by Rouben Mamoulian and produced by Darryl F. Zanuck for 20th Century Fox. The screenplay, written by Jo Swerling, is based on the 1908 Spanish novel Blood and Sand by Vicente Blasco Ibáñez. The film stars Tyrone Power, Linda Darnell, Rita Hayworth, and Anthony Quinn.

The story follows Juan Gallardo, a young man from a poor family who rises to fame and fortune as a bullfighter. His success brings him wealth and adoration, but also leads to his downfall. Juan becomes entangled with the seductive Doña Sol, which strains his marriage to his childhood sweetheart, Carmen. As his personal life unravels, so does his career, leading to a tragic end.
