- Booneville is a city located in Logan County, Arkansas, United States. It is part of the Fort Smith, Arkansas-Oklahoma Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city is the county seat of the southern district of Logan County. Booneville's population was 3,990 at the 2010 census.

- Booneville was founded in 1828 when Walter Cauthron, an early explorer of the Arkansas Territory, built a log cabin and store along the Petit Jean River. Named after Daniel Boone, the city has a rich history that is integral to the development of the Frontier of the United States.

- Booneville is located at 35°8′23″N 93°55′17″W. The city is located in the Arkansas River Valley on the western edge of the Ouachita Mountains.
