Boston Latin School
Boston Latin School is a public exam school in Boston, Massachusetts. Established on April 23, 1635, it is the oldest public school in the United States. The school was modeled after the Boston Grammar School in Lincolnshire, England, and it has a long history of academic excellence.

Boston Latin School was founded by the town of Boston and is considered the first public school in America. The school's curriculum was based on the classical tradition, emphasizing the study of Latin and Greek languages and literature. The first headmaster was Philemon Pormort, and the first classes were held in the home of the schoolmaster.

The school offers a wide range of extracurricular activities, including sports, music, drama, and various clubs. The Boston Latin School Wolfpack is the school's athletic team, and they compete in the Dual County League.

The current campus of Boston Latin School is located in the Fenway-Kenmore neighborhood of Boston. The school moved to its current location in 1922. The campus includes several buildings, athletic fields, and a library.
