- Box Elder County is a county located in the U.S. state of Utah. As of the 2010 census, the population was approximately 49,975. Its county seat and largest city is Brigham City. The county was named for the box elder trees that abound in the county.
Geography[edit | edit source]
- Box Elder County lies on the north end of Utah. Its north border abuts the south border of the state of Idaho and its west border abuts the east border of the state of Nevada. The Bear River flows through the middle of the valley and empties into the Great Salt Lake on the county's southwest corner.
