The Brakspear Brewery was established by William Brakspear in 1711. The brewery remained a family-run business for several generations, becoming well-known for its high-quality ales. In 2002, the original brewery in Henley-on-Thames was closed, and production was moved to the Wychwood Brewery in Witney, Oxfordshire.
