Brian Cushing (born January 24, 1987) is a former American football linebacker who played in the National Football League (NFL) for the Houston Texans. He played college football at the University of Southern California (USC), earning consensus All-American honors. Cushing was selected by the Texans in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft.

Brian Cushing was born in Park Ridge, New Jersey, and attended Bergen Catholic High School in Oradell, New Jersey. During his high school career, he was a versatile player, playing linebacker, running back, and wide receiver.
