Brooklyn College
Brooklyn College is a public college in Brooklyn, New York City. It is part of the City University of New York (CUNY) system. The college was founded in 1930 and offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in a variety of disciplines.

Brooklyn College was established in 1930 as a result of the merger of the Brooklyn branches of Hunter College and City College of New York. The college's first campus was located in downtown Brooklyn, but it moved to its current location in the Midwood neighborhood in 1937.
Campus[edit | edit source]
The Brooklyn College campus is known for its beautiful Georgian-style architecture and its landscaped quadrangle. The campus includes several notable buildings, such as the Library, the Student Center, and the Performing Arts Center. The college also has a state-of-the-art science complex.

Brooklyn College offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs through its five schools:
- School of Business

- School of Humanities and Social Sciences
- School of Natural and Behavioral Sciences
- School of Visual, Media and Performing Arts

Brooklyn College has a vibrant student life with numerous student organizations, clubs, and athletic teams. The college's athletic teams are known as the Bulldogs and compete in the NCAA Division III.
