- Camden County is a county located in the U.S. state of Missouri. As of the 2010 Census, the population was 44,002. Its county seat is Camdenton. The county was organized on January 29, 1841, and was named for Charles Pratt, 1st Earl Camden, Lord Chancellor of the United Kingdom, and leader of the Whig Party.

- The county's economy is primarily based on tourism, with many people from the St. Louis, Kansas City, and Omaha areas owning vacation homes in the region. The construction industry, retail trade, and service industries, including healthcare, also contribute significantly to the local economy.

- Camden County has several public and private schools providing education to its residents. It is served by four public school districts: Camdenton R-III School District, Macks Creek R-V School District, Climax Springs R-IV School District, and Stoutland R-II School District.

- Major highways in the county include U.S. Route 54, Route 5, Route 7, and Route 73. The county also has several private and public airports, including Camdenton Memorial-Lake Regional Airport and Grand Glaize-Osage Beach Airport.
