The Canadian Diabetes Association (CDA), now known as Diabetes Canada, is a national health charity in Canada dedicated to helping people with diabetes live healthy lives while working to find a cure. The organization provides education and support to individuals living with diabetes, advocates for public policies that improve the quality of life for people with diabetes, and funds research to better understand, prevent, and treat diabetes.

The Canadian Diabetes Association was founded in 1953 by Dr. Charles Best, one of the co-discoverers of insulin, and other prominent figures in the Canadian medical community. The organization was established to address the growing need for a national body to support diabetes research and education.
In 2017, the Canadian Diabetes Association rebranded itself as Diabetes Canada to better reflect its mission and the community it serves.

The mission of Diabetes Canada is to lead the fight against diabetes by helping people with diabetes live healthy lives while working to find a cure. The vision of the organization is a world free of the effects of diabetes.

Diabetes Canada offers a variety of programs and services, including:
