Capas is a municipality located in the province of Tarlac, Philippines. It is situated in the central part of Luzon, approximately 102 kilometers north of Manila, the country's capital. With a land area of 376.39 square kilometers, Capas is known for its rich history, natural attractions, and vibrant culture.

Capas has a significant historical background, particularly during the World War II era. It served as the final destination of the infamous Bataan Death March, where thousands of Filipino and American prisoners of war were forced to march from Bataan to Capas in April 1942. Capas is bordered by the municipalities of Botolan and San Marcelino in the west, Concepcion in the east, and Bamban in the south. It is also adjacent to the province of Zambales. Mount Pinatubo, a famous volcano known for its eruption in 1991, is located within the jurisdiction of Capas.
